Which Olympiad Olympiad course is the best in Hong Kong? Selected 6 Olympiad Olympiad Classes for Young Children: A comprehensive look at the benefits of learning Olympiad!

Updated: 07/10/2025

There are many benefits to learning Mathematical Olympiad

Many parents hope to cultivate their children's interest in mathematics from an early age and build a solid foundation in logic. The Mathematical Olympiad (OM) is one of the best ways to unleash a child's mathematical potential and cultivate logical thinking. In recent years, an increasing number of parents in Hong Kong have chosen to enroll their children in OM classes or preschool OM courses (K2 and K3), hoping to expose their children to high-level mathematical thinking early on and lay a solid foundation for future learning.

Why should we learn Mathematical Olympiad? What are the benefits of learning Mathematical Olympiad?

Studying Mathematical Olympiads helps children gain a deeper understanding of core mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, number theory, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Mathematical Olympiads not only require students to master textbook knowledge but also encourage them to use creative thinking to solve problems. By solving Mathematical Olympiad problems, children develop analytical skills, reasoning skills, and patience. These skills are extremely helpful in daily life, school studies, and even future college interviews.

For beginners, Mathematical Olympiads are an ideal starting point for sparking an interest in mathematics. Through gamification and practical learning methods, Mathematical Olympiad classes (K2 through K3) allow children to grasp abstract concepts in a relaxed environment and develop a love for mathematics. As children progress through more advanced Mathematical Olympiad problems, they not only build a strong mathematical foundation but also cultivate independent thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Mathematical Olympiad courses also cultivate children's perseverance and patience in solving difficult problems. Whenever they face seemingly unsolvable problems, their instructors guide them through step-by-step deconstruction, helping them develop learning strategies and patience. These experiences are invaluable for future exams and life challenges.

Gaobadou Mathematical Thinking Training Center 👍 👍 👍

The Ko Ba Dou Mathematical Thinking Training Centre was established in 2002 by a group of educators passionate about mathematics. They subsequently recruited Mr. So Ching-hang, former Curriculum Director of the Hong Kong Mathematical Olympiad School, to serve as Curriculum Coordinator. Mr. So has extensive experience in teaching Mathematical Olympiads, designing curriculum, coordinating school-based training sessions, and formulating competition questions. He is deeply familiar with the development of Mathematical Olympiads in Hong Kong. Ko Ba Dou believes that mathematical thinking is an essential skill in today's society and the root of all learning.

Gao Badou is committed to promoting Mathematical Olympiads, hoping to allow more students to:

  • Learn to think logically to simplify the process
  • Improve your thinking level and learn to analyze problems from multiple angles
  • Enhance interest in mathematics learning to achieve the best learning results
  • Learn to appreciate mathematical thinking and enhance interest in learning
