【Terms and Conditions】

Students must attend classes on time according to the schedule stated on the application form. If a student is absent without prior application for sick leave or personal leave, the lesson will still be counted as attended, as the seat and staffing costs have already been reserved.
Applications for sick leave or personal leave must be made in advance. Each student may apply for leave or reschedule only once per month and agrees to follow AME’s procedures for leave, rescheduling, and arrangements during typhoons or red/black rainstorm warnings.
Parents must settle the remaining balance within two weeks after paying the deposit. Failure to do so will be regarded as forfeiting the course, and no refunds will be given. Tuition fees must be paid before the “invoice validity date,” including fees for make-up classes, and cannot be postponed to the following month or used to offset future tuition. Fees for the following month must be paid by the third week of each month, either in cash or by cheque.
Parents agree with AME’s teaching methodology and are willing to follow and trust the professional judgment of AME instructors in guiding their children’s learning, without objection.
AME is a continuous learning program. Enrolled students and parents agree to ongoing participation and must provide one month’s prior notice if they wish to discontinue; otherwise, they agree to continue paying the next period’s tuition to fulfill the notice requirement. (Students enrolling in a regular AME course for one term must pay a HKD $783 cash deposit, which will be refunded within three months.)
Parents understand that invoice validity is calculated based on “one lesson per week.” If students do not attend weekly, fail to apply for leave in advance via WhatsApp (Tel: 5288 4261), or arrange make-up classes privately with instructors instead of using the official online system, parents agree to take responsibility for their own records. If assistance from AME is required, parents must provide all requested information and allow at least 28 days for processing, or pay an administrative fee of HKD $500 for expedited handling. Parents fully accept and trust AME’s attendance records without objection.
AME operates as an educational center, and all services provided to students are not free of charge (e.g., special programs). Parents agree to pay for any services used. Discounts such as half-price for the second and third subjects must be used together with the first subject. If the first subject is discontinued, the associated discounts and complimentary courses for the second and third subjects will be cancelled.
In the event of class suspension due to situations such as COVID-19, parents agree that lessons will be conducted online until normal classes resume. If the center relocates, parents agree to relocation within the same district (e.g., Sha Tin) without objection.
Under any circumstances, if a student withdraws from the course midway, the remaining tuition fees will not be refunded. The center reserves the final decision (except in cases where the center is unable to provide the course or in cases of dishonest practices).
